Do I need to know how to make volume fans before the course?
No! You do not need previous volume experience. Day 1 is dedicated to learning volume fans from the foundations, including fan creation, fan width, diameters, weight, adhesive use, placement, and troubleshooting. You’ll have plenty of hands-on practice before applying these techniques to a live model.

Will I work on a live model?
Yes! Day 2 includes a live model where you’ll apply everything you’ve learned throughout the course. You’ll analyze your model’s features, create a customized lash map, and complete an advanced lash set with personalized guidance and feedback throughout your application.

What will I learn on Day 1?
Day 1 focuses on building your advanced technical skills. You’ll learn volume fan creation, fan widths, diameters and weight, adhesive use, placement, lash layers, spikes, texture, mixing lengths and curls, and more. You’ll spend the day practicing these techniques and refining your skills before working on a model.

Day 2 focuses on advanced styling and customization. You’ll learn detailed eye and facial analysis, facial mapping, eye shapes, eye planes, eyelids, eye set and depth, natural lash direction, correcting asymmetry, advanced layering, wispy and textured styling, strip-lash-inspired looks, coloured lashes, and how to combine techniques to create a customized set.

Absolutely. You’ll learn how to analyze each client's unique facial features, eye shape, natural lashes, and desired look to create a customized map rather than relying on standard lash maps.

What advanced techniques will I learn?
You’ll learn volume fan creation, spikes, layering, texture, wispy styling, strip-lash-inspired looks, mixing lengths, diameters and curls, coloured lash styling, and how to combine multiple techniques to create dimensional, customized sets.

How much hands-on practice is included?
The course is highly hands-on. Day 1 is dedicated to practicing volume fans and advanced techniques, while Day 2 gives you the opportunity to apply those techniques to a live model with 1:1 guidance and personalized feedback.
